Microsoft has announced a limited-edition series of Xbox Series X consoles to mark the 25th anniversary of the Xbox gaming platform. The new model, called the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition, is scheduled for release in November this year.
The console features a 1TB storage drive and, for the first time in this generation, introduces a semi-transparent green body. Its design is inspired by the original Xbox console and the classic OG Green color tone.
Alongside the console, a limited green controller will also debut and will be sold separately as an accessory. The controller design emphasizes the history of the Xbox brand.
According to Jason Ronald, this model combines the modern power and performance of the Xbox Series X with a design that reflects the platform’s legacy. He emphasized that this release is one way to thank the gaming community that has supported Xbox for 25 years.
As a reminder, G2 Esports won LEC 2026 Spring.
