Fumi Games has announced that its noir inspired shooter MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has now surpassed 1 million players across all platforms. According to the developers, around half of all sales came from consoles, while the remaining half were on PC.
The game launched on April 16 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions planned for a later release. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 became available on July 10.
Fumi Games founder and CEO Mateusz Michalak thanked the community for its support, saying the game's success exceeded the team's expectations.
"MOUSE: P.I. For Hire reaching over 1 million players has filled the team with an immeasurable amount of gratitude and appreciation for our community. What started as a simple concept for a 1930s cartoon inspired shooter has reached more players than we could have ever imagined. Our priority has always been to put players first, and we have continued working hard on the game after launch. With our recent major update featuring Level Revisit, the release of physical editions, and upcoming story DLC, we hope players are excited for everything still to come. A handcrafted tale born of ink, sweat, and stubborn dreams. From the bottom of our grinning hearts, thank you for supporting us!"
