Following several major gaming events packed with announcements and gameplay reveals for some of the industry's most anticipated titles, Nintendo largely stayed away from the spotlight. However, the Japanese company is now preparing a major presentation of its own.
As insider Nate the Hate previously reported, the next Nintendo Direct is indeed scheduled for this week. The broadcast will take place on June 9 at 4:00 PM CEST and is expected to run for approximately 50 minutes.

The presentation will feature upcoming games for both the original Nintendo Switch and the newer Switch 2. Once the Direct concludes, Nintendo Treehouse: Live will begin, offering around 90 minutes of gameplay footage and deeper looks at selected titles shown during the event.
Nintendo has not revealed the lineup in advance, as is usually the case. However, there is speculation that the company could announce the Switch 2 release date for the spy action game 007 First Light. Insiders have also repeatedly suggested that acclaimed titles such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Red Dead Redemption 2 may eventually make their way to Nintendo’s hybrid platform.
As a Reminder, Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution Will Remain Xbox Exclusives Permanently.
