The Ukrainian Championship in CS2 and Dota 2 once again proved that esports has no age limits. At the same tournament, 14-year-old newcomers just starting their journey competed alongside experienced players over the age of 30.
In CS2, several young talents managed to reach the playoffs, including players from B8 Academy and AFU Enjoyers. Meanwhile in Dota 2, the oldest participant of the tournament, Bafik, together with QQ Team, also finished in the top 8.
CS2 especially stood out with four young players. segukawa from B8 Academy is 16 years old, while his teammate r0se is 15. B8 Academy is the academy roster of one of the most well-known Ukrainian organizations, and reaching the top 8 at their very first stage already speaks for itself.
The youngest players at the entire tournament were h1mal8ya and fr1s from AFU Enjoyers — both just 14 years old. Their team also made the playoffs and finished in 5th–8th place.
In Dota 2, the youngest player was -Vision- from 5vGOD at 16 years old. The team did not make it past the group stage, but simply competing in the top 16 of the discipline at such an age is already an achievement.
On the opposite side was Bafik from QQ Team, 32 years old, competing in Dota 2. His team reached the playoffs and finished 5th–8th. Another QQ Team player, Rakuzan, is 29 years old. Not surprising considering the team’s average age is 27.2 years.

As a reminder, Luminosity Gaming and TSM are looking to acquire the 3DMAX roster
