New details regarding the world of Grand Theft Auto 6 have surfaced following a gameplay showcase on Netflix. Observant fans noticed one of the residential complexes in the state of Leonida, which almost completely copies the real-life building in Miami where the main protagonist of the TV show Dexter, Dexter Morgan, lived.
The building in the game and its real-life prototype on Bay Harbor Islands look nearly identical and are both situated near the waterfront. Not only does the shape of the complex match, but so do the spiral staircase on the left side and the pedestrian walkways across the lawns. Due to such precision, the community assumes that the developers at Rockstar Games intentionally added this location as an Easter Egg.
It is currently unknown whether this building serves an additional gameplay purpose. Among fans, there is speculation that the apartment could become purchasable for players or serve as a lead-in to a storyline involving a serial killer. There is no official confirmation from the developers regarding the building's functionality yet.
Dexter Morgan's apartment is one of the most recognizable locations from the original TV series Dexter (2006–2013), which spawned several spin-offs, including the project Dexter: Resurrection, which is ongoing in 2026. It was there that the protagonist planned his crimes and stored blood slides of his victims.
