A large-scale offline tournament, the Overwatch Champions Series 2026 Midseason Championship, has concluded in Paris. The top-tier Overwatch 2 competition took place from July 29 to August 2, 2026, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles arena. The event was organized by Blizzard Entertainment, FACEIT, and the Esports Foundation. Sixteen teams participated in the tournament, competing for a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD.

The competition consisted of two main stages: the group stage and the playoffs. The group stage ran from July 29 to 31 in a Double Elimination format, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the next stage. A specific feature of the matches was the hero ban system, under which each team banned one hero per map from different roles.

The playoff stage took place on August 1 and 2 in a Single Elimination format. In a tense grand final, ZETA DIVISION claimed victory over Twisted Minds with a score of 4:2. In the third-place match, T1 confidently defeated Weibo Gaming with a decisive 3:0 score.

As the tournament champions, ZETA DIVISION secured the main prize of $400,000 USD and 1,000 EWC Club Points. The silver medalists, Twisted Minds, earned $180,000 USD and 750 points, while the bronze medalists, T1, took home $100,000 USD and 500 points. The title of Most Valuable Player of the tournament and an additional $25,000 USD award went to player Shu from ZETA DIVISION.

A significant portion of the championship participants were esports players from South Korea: 38 players represented the country, accounting for 45% of the total number. They were followed by China and the United States, each featuring 12 players (14% respectively).
