Ukrainian Counter-Strike 2 team B8 has qualified for the third stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026. The decisive qualification match was played against BIG and ended in a 2–1 victory for B8 (7:13 on Ancient, 13:6 on Overpass, and 13:8 on Dust2).

Stage 2 began on a difficult note for the Ukrainian squad. B8 lost its first two matches against FUT and M80. However, once the tournament moved to the BO3 format, the team mounted an impressive comeback and secured three crucial victories over GamerLegion, MIBR, and BIG.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features a prize pool of $1.25 million.
