Valve has released a new update for Counter-Strike 2, marking the start of Premier Mode Season 5.
The biggest change is a complete overhaul of the bomb explosion mechanics. When the bomb detonates, the blast wave now spreads outward from the bombsite across the map. As before, players who are too close to the bomb at the moment of detonation will be killed instantly. However, the shockwave now dissipates around corners and cannot pass through walls.
The update also introduces two new weapon collections: Arabesque and Spy Tech. In addition, the Fruits & Vegetables sticker collection has been added to the game's sticker capsule lineup.
Valve has also shared the bomb blast radius for each map in the current Active Duty map pool.
Five new community maps have been added to the game: Boulder, Fachwerk, Shelter, Debris, and El Dorado.
Reminder: The addition of Jubilee and the major rework of Black Widow will be the headline features of Marvel Rivals Season 9.
