Tournament organizer BLAST has published its 2025 financial report, confirming that the company has returned to profitability after several years of operating losses. BLAST recorded a consolidated net profit of €411,000, marking a significant milestone driven by international expansion and the stabilization of its business model.

During 2025, BLAST's global revenue increased by 39.5% year-over-year, reaching €114.6 million. Although the company's net profit margin remained modest at 0.36%, the return to profitability represents a major turnaround following cumulative losses of €20.4 million between 2022 and 2024.

North America remained BLAST's largest market by a considerable margin, generating €48.8 million in revenue. The growth was fueled by the successful BLAST.tv Austin Major and the opening of the company's new headquarters in Brooklyn.

Revenue in Europe grew to €43.6 million, up from €33.6 million in 2024. Meanwhile, Asia experienced the fastest growth, with revenue jumping from €3.1 million in 2024 to €21.4 million, supported by regional partnerships, including the staging of BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong.

Looking ahead to 2026, BLAST expects continued financial growth. The company forecasts revenue to increase by 11–16%, while targeting EBITDA of €8–13 million. Management attributes this outlook to its ongoing publishing partnerships with Valve and Epic Games, the operation of its production hub in Malta, and continued expansion across India and North America.

To remain competitive with tournament organizers such as PGL and ESL, BLAST also announced plans to increase total investment in its tournament ecosystem to $10 million in 2027. The company will introduce an event-based financial model and significantly revamp the LAN formats for its Bounty and Open tournament series.

As a reminder, the Esports World Cup 2026 organizers recently revealed the Dota 2 group stage draw for the tournament.
