European team FUT, which currently features two Ukrainian players, have failed to qualify for the playoffs at IEM Cologne Major 2026.
In the decisive playoff qualification match, FUT faced BB. The European lineup was unable to secure victory in key moments and lost the series 0–2, with identical 7:13 defeats on both Mirage and Dust2.
As a result, FUT exit the tournament just one step away from the playoffs. The team began their run in Stage 2, which they completed with a flawless 3–0 record.
BB have successfully advanced to the playoff stage.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany, featuring a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
As a reminder, the team featuring Gabe Newell’s son finished third in its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race.
