Journalist Richard Lewis claimed that at the beginning of 2026, Falcons attempted to sign player Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskyi and coach Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi from NAVI's CS2 roster.
Lewis noted that b1t had wanted to change teams during the last two off-seasons. However, NAVI management reportedly rejected all offers for the player, which left him frustrated.
"I think this also appeared on one of those insider accounts, saying that Falcons tried to buy out B1ad3 and b1t at the start of the year and made an offer for them. But they were turned down. Whoever was running that account that posted the information — this time, they didn't make it up. Because of that, b1t was disappointed, as he wanted to play with his friends and compete in a team fighting for championship titles," Lewis said.
Almost immediately, NAVI's Sporting Director Amiran "ami" Rekhviashvili responded to these claims. He stated that the Saudi organization had never approached NAVI regarding B1ad3, while an offer for b1t had only been made once, back in 2024.
"Unfortunately, your information is incorrect. Falcons have never contacted us regarding the transfer of b1ad3. We received a buyout offer in 2024, immediately after we won the Major. We have never forced Valeriy to stay; he is happy at NAVI and has never requested a transfer to any other organization," ami wrote.
