Red Dead Redemption 2 has officially reached third place among the best-selling video games of all time, according to Take-Two Interactive’s latest quarterly financial report.
The game has now surpassed Wii Sports with total sales reaching 85 million copies worldwide.
The achievement is particularly notable given the game’s limited ongoing support and platform availability. Rockstar Games ended active online support for the title in 2022 and has not released dedicated versions for modern consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or Switch 2.
Despite this, the game continues to sell at an estimated pace of around 1 million copies per month. It remains available only on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Earlier, Grand Theft Auto V was reported to be approaching 230 million copies sold worldwide.
