Riot Games announces Wild Rift x NBA collaboration

The mobile MOBA League of Legends: Wild Rift is preparing for a major crossover with the world’s top basketball league, the NBA. The news was reported by Sheep Esports, which shared footage of the upcoming release.

As part of the collaboration, the developers will introduce three new limited-edition skins inspired by iconic NBA franchises:

• Lakers Myth Darius — a themed skin for Darius designed in the signature colors of the Los Angeles Lakers.
• Celtics Legend Mordekaiser — a skin for Mordekaiser inspired by the Boston Celtics. Early gameplay footage showcases the club’s iconic green color palette and unique visual effects.
• Warriors Glory Jarvan IV — a Jarvan IV skin based on the Golden State Warriors.

The first promotional materials reportedly appeared on the Chinese platform Weibo. The global release date and pricing for the skins have not yet been revealed, though a full announcement from Riot Games is expected soon.

As a reminder, organizers of the Brawl Stars Championship are introducing map drafts and global bans ahead of the Summer Split.
