For online play in Rocket League on PC, the Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) system is becoming mandatory. The update is aimed at maintaining fair and competitive gameplay.
EAC runs in the background and fully supports both Steam Deck and Linux. However, modifications (mods) will no longer work in online matches with anti-cheat enabled—they will only be available in training, offline play, or LAN matches.
